Just after midnight on October 2nd 2011, in the Open Filk at Archon 35, Bari sang Healing Song to Cat. When he finished, in front of the family and friends gathered there, Bari asked Cat for her hand in marriage. Cat, of course, enthusiastically said yes!

On March 31st 2012, in an outdoor, Renaissance-themed ceremony, they were wed, using Healing Song as their processional music. This time it was sung by Cat's daughter, Valerie, as her son Matthew, escorted his mother to Bari.

Cat and Bari wrote 2 additional songs, making their entire wedding the filk music which had first brought them together, and held a Bardic Circle at the end of their reception.
